Lucia one day old, not a happy camper!
Hanging in the jungle with my girl Dorcas and my favorite breakfast--fresh coconuts.
Lucia and stiv swimming in Tumbes, Peru. What a great view from that great pool! So, our time spent with family in Peru was extra special, getting to spend time with Viterbo, Candy, Belen, Gladith, Karina, Boris, Alenka, and the rest of Stiv's family. Everyone loved Lucia, and I can't wait for her to spend more time living with her family down there.
Lucia hanging out on Father's Day with Papi and her Grandpa Viterbo and Aunt Belen.
Now things are back to normal for us. Stiv is back to work at Boeing and I just started looking for a job--I'm looking for a managerial position at Boeing or elsewhere that has competitive benefits to offer. If you know anyone hiring for an MBA, let me know! =)
I also enjoy spending time studying politics--Did you know that in Peru if you don't vote for an election, even a local one, you are fined and have to pay? When we returned to Peru this May, Stiv owed more than $100 (yes, thats dollars..some people make that much in a whole month in Peru!) in fines for missing elections! In America we have no idea how good we have it, we take civic responsibility for granted. More on this later...
